We are so glad that you stopped by to check out our site.
We just praise the Lord for the blessings that these little dogs
provide to all of us. After
our first litter of puppies in 2002, we decided that we wanted to add
breeding Shih Tzus to our life.
As always it is our goal to be good stewards of all that God provides and
raising and breeding the Shih Tzus is no exception.
Our goal for breeding our Shih Tzus is two fold.
First to improve the breed and secondly, to provide others the same
opportunity that we have had of enjoying these wonderful companion pets. So we have set out to put together our breeding program.
Below are the puppies/dogs that we are
using in our breeding program. |
We have added a new service to some of the smaller breeders in our
area. That service is to post and promote their puppies on our web site.
We take no legal responsibility for the decisions or claims of the
breeders or their puppies in anyway, this is simply a service to help both
the breeder and the perspective buyer. We do insist that to be on our site
they follow the same practices that we do. They have been given a copy of
our contract, and have been encouraged to use it as a guide for developing
their own. We also work with them making sure that the dewclaws are
removed and that they adhere to the same fundamental principles that we
do, such as the importance of socialization, immunizations and worming.
Puppies that are available can be 'held' until they are ready to go to
their new homes, with a 50% deposit. Please be advised that this deposit
in NON-REFUNDABLE.
Little Blessings Shih Tzu
puppy contract
We have added some extra security with
each of our puppies. Each puppy will go out with the Avid Microchip.
The reason for this is two fold. First it is critical to us to know
that none of our puppies ever end up in an animal shelter and potentially
euthanized. Secondly, we know first hand how devastating it
can be to loose a beloved pet and have no way to find them. The
microchip will forever be with them and will lower the possibility of them
being lost for ever.

Zacchaeus
God’s Little Blessing is our tiny type male. He is
very sweet
and has silky smooth hair. We found him in
Texas and at a year of age he
weighed in at 10 lbs.
Zacchaeus
may be small in stature but he is not small in love or mixing it up with
the big dogs. Zacchaeus learned at a very early age that the best place
to sleep in the house is on our pillows lying up against the top of our
heads. By day he checks in with a quick snuggle and then off to play
with the other dogs. By evening its taz and spaz through the house and
by night it’s snuggle on the couch or in his favorite sleeping place.
Zacchaeus
like all our other dogs loves the great out of doors. You don't have to
ask him twice if he wants to go out side. He is usually at the door
before you can say "All dogs outside".

Our Girls

Faith
has continued
to mature into a real personable friend. She is very quiet and not
pretentious. She has developed over the years a quirky but cute way of
swinging her head side to side when she is happy. When she is doing
this it is very easy to get her to start dancing with a little bit of
singing and shuffling across the floor. Like all our little friends,
Faith enjoys her hugs, tummy rubs and one on one time. even though
Faith has been a momma several times, she still knows how to play like a
puppy with the other dogs. She is not to be left out during the "Taz
and Spaz" hour in the evening.
Faith is the
momma to Emma.

Trinity is a
wonderful tiny type female. She has quite the personality, knows when to
cuddle but knows when to mix it up with the bigger dogs. Trinity always
has time to give anyone a kiss, a hug and a shower. Full grown now, Trinity
weighs a whopping 7 lbs.

Our first Shih Tzu is
Zoe. She is
pure bred but not papered. She is all white and weighs about 12 - 14 lbs. She
has just an incredibly loving personality. She has had 4
litters to date. I have kept in
touch with the owners of these puppies and they report back that all of
the puppies have very sweet and mellow personalities.
Zoë's claim to fame is herding our
animals. She was taught as a puppy to heard goats and sheep by our Boarder
Collie. The two of them worked wonderfully together. When our Border Collie
passed on, Zoe has continued on with her training. She is used frequently as
an extra hand to help put animals away. Zoe has a keen sense of knowing
just when to come to our rescue and help put animals away. Her favorite past
time is to sit or lay in the fields and stare at the Alpaca's for
long periods of time. Many of our Alpaca's have befriended her and look
forward to her visits. |

Emma is the newest addition to the house hold. She is a blue
colored offspring of our Faith and Zacchaeus. A spunky little thing that
will not take no for an answer from the other dogs when she wants to play.
Just like the others, she has her sensitive side and really enjoys evenings
sitting in our laps being loved on.
