Alexandria is the first daughter of Velvet's Alexander the Great. Who was our full accoyo Reserve Champion Herdsire. We are so pleased that she has the color from her dam and the fineness from her sire. This girl is destined to be a great addition to our breeding program.

It's a girl! We are so pleased, Alexandria's first cria is a girl. She is such a good mom. We have named her Abeni, which means "girl prayed for". She was sired by Snowmass Invincible. She is petite but very correct. White cria who looks dense and I believe that she will get the full head that her sire carries. Look for her in the show ring next spring.

Alexandria is being bred to our 3/4 Accoyo herdsire, Accoyo America Argonaut. This should produce a spectacular cria in 2009.

This female is a proven producer of 7 live cria and is an excellent mother. One reason that I say she is a great mom is that in 2007 she actually adopted another mothers cria as she was having milk production issues. The owner didn't even know about the trouble with that mom. When they came here I thought how interesting that this mom would allow not only her cria to nurse but one of the other cria as well. I thought what a smart baby she figured out how to get extra. Later I came to find that her mom didn't have hardly any milk. Then I was even more impressed with Katrina and her mothering skills.

Katrina has produced a true black cria (2004) and thus can produce color when bred to color. Katrina will make a strong foundation producer to any herd. There is yet another feature about Katrina that I have come to appreciate. She is one of those girls who is there but is very quiet and demure. If you were not paying close attention you probably would not even notice her. She gets along well with other alpacas and easy to handle when things need to get done.

Katrina is white, full Bolivian female who has been bred to Velvet's Sierra Nevada, a full accoyo, McGwire son. This pairing is adding some wonderful genetics to the future cria. This cria will be a 1/2 Accoyo and 1/2 Bolivian. Bringing all the best that both regions have to offer. Also, since she is bred to our male she qualifies for our extended warranty program. Star had her cria she is being offered at a 25% discount until she is confirmed pregnant, which is $7,425. Her regular price is $9,900.

Star delivered a 22 lb male cria without any difficulty. He is very healthy and gaining well. His sire is Velvet's Sierra Nevada a full accoyo McGwire son. Star is an exceptional mother and very attentive to her cria but very accepting of her owners handling and working with her baby. We named her son Rigel and he is looking very nice, he has nice bundling, good bone and very good conformation.

This Andino daughter is good size and is the epitome of the broad chest and good spring of rib that the judges always talk about, which helps to ensure her deliveries to be problem free. Just think what Andino, Pachacuti, Victor and El Moustachio genes can do for your breeding program! Fabulous way to begin a solid breeding program with this female at an exceptional price. She is currently being bred to our 3/4 Accoyo herdsire Accoyo America Argonaut. Cria in utero will be a 3/4 Peruvian with 11/16ths of that being accoyo.

Savannah delivered a beautiful brown and white boy this year. I named him Benji. He is out of our Vic Jr Son. I was hoping for grey as Invincible has produced 4 blacks to date out of fawn dams. She is being offered at 25% off of her listed price until she is confirmed pregnant. The discount makes her price $7500.00. She will come with her son until he is weaned. I am planning on breeding her to our new black herdsire, Rascal who is a Camilio son for an 2009 cria.

Savannah is an experienced white female w/grey pigmentation. She has had many healthy cria. She can throw cria of color. We are very impressed with how attentive she is to her cria. Her 2006 cria was 19.9 lbs, we named him Mandela. See his photos. She was been re-bred to Vic Jr's Invincible. He is an outstanding boy who has produced several wonderful cria to date. We are eager to see a cria of color from this combination.

Savannah is one of those production girls who are an easy keeper. She doesn't really want to be touched but likes to know everything that you are doing. She appreciates supervising the poop clean up and any other chores needing to be done.

Tessilya is open at the moment. If you are interested in her at that time she will come with a breeding to any of our herdsires. You may choose is she has not been bred yet. Also, she is beinh offered for $9,375 that is a 25% discount. Her regular price is $12,500 and her price will go back up once she is confirmed pregnant.

Tessilya is a solid production girl who has nice color and density. At this point she is not showing a lot of character and fineness, but did produce a wonderful cria out of Pinot Noir this last year. Unfortunately, this years cria did not get into proper position and ended up being still born. She was bred to our Vic Jr's Invincible and this mating resulted in a black, female cria. I am planning to repeat this breeding if no one else purchases her.

She has some conformational issues as she may not have received enough A&D as a youth. Our area just does not get enough sunlight for these guys and we need to help them out by administering the A&D. The vet has looked at her and agrees that it was most likely an A&D deficiency. From what I have been told she has never passed her leg issues on to her offspring, which further supports this hypothesis.

She is bred to Vic Jr's Invincible for a June 08 cria. She is a wonderful mom with lots of milk, she is attentive to her baby yet easy to work with at the same time.

Tessilya qualifies for our extended warranty program.

Sequoia was a bottle baby and is very easy to work with. We had some farm visitors last week and she just cushed down next to them. As great as that was for them I am not sure it gave them a realistic view of alpacas over all.

Sequoia is being bred to our 3/4 Accoyo, Nautilus x Sunipani son, Accoyo America Argonaut.

Sequoia has a very rich color of fleece. She has some nice bloodlines in her back ground with Peruvian Leon and Silver Man. She is very correct conformationally. Breeding decisions need to be geared to improve fineness and fleece architecture. We chose Argonaut because of his density, fineness and fleece characteristics.
