Cleopatra, a half
accoyo, who has the best of both her parents: the deep rich
red/brown with black tips carried by her mother and the awesome
fleece quality of her full Accoyo B-line father, Sir Accoyo Custer.
She walks proud and tall, deserving of her queenly name.
At shearing time this year I had all the fleece sorted. Cleopatra's
fleece was graded as a 3 which is perfect for hand knitting yarn.
She scored 7/10 for brightness, 5/10 for density, 7/10 for
uniformity. She has 4 crimps per inch with a low amplitude.
BVD negative by PCR and microchipped
